Brandwerk TW presents: Two distinctive expressions from Hinch Whiskey — Discover the rich character of Northern Ireland
As the global whiskey market continues to grow and diversify, aged cask expressions and authentic brand stories caught consumer’s attention. Hinch Distillery responded with new offerings that underline its North Irish roots.
Starting this from June 2025, Brandwerk TW (Hong Kong Brandwerk Ltd., Taiwan Branch) proudly launches in Taiwan two remarkable releases that showcase Hinch mastery.
Hinch 5 Year Old – Madeira Wine Cask Finish (Connoisseur Series) —the winner’s trophy for Limited Edition of Irish Whiskey Awards 2024
Inspired by the vibrant Portuguese island of Madeira—renowned for its centuries-old fortified wines—this whiskey pays tribute to a land with only seven wine estates, yet a legacy of world-class craftsmanship.
Hinch 5 Year Old begins its journey with five years of maturation in ex-bourbon casks, establishing a rich and full-bodied base. It is then transferred to rare ex-Madeira wine casks for six months of secondary aging, unlocking a vivid array of aromas and textures. Expect warm wood spices, bright fruit notes, orange marmalade, and hazelnut chocolate—a refined, layered dram that invites you to explore the essence of Hinch.
Hinch 15 Year Old – Oloroso Sherry Cask Finish (Hidden Depths Series, Batch 1) —was awarded Gold in the Blended Whiskey Age Statement category of Irish Whiskey Awards 2024
The inaugural limited release in the Hidden Depths series’, this expression blends 2003 single malt and 2008 grain whiskey, both matured in ex-bourbon casks before being finished in first-fill Oloroso sherry casks and Oloroso hogsheads.
Bottled at 46% ABV, non-chill filtered, and with no added color, it retains the whiskey’s natural purity. This expression reveals a full-bodied character with complex layers of dried fruits, citrus sweetness, baking spice, and a long, elegant finish—an exceptional choice for seasoned whiskey lovers.
